Classic headbands are approximately 2" wide stretchy cotton. The headbands help hold the hair back and keeps scarves and shawls from slipping while the front panel adds a lovely burst of color. To demonstrate how the headband can be layered, it is shown in the picture on top of a cotton tube hijab cap which is sold separately.
