Islamic clothing is beautiful

Islamic clothing has always been beautiful in my eyes. As a child, I used to envy the Muslim clothing styles. Being from a very catholic family, my parents wouldn’t let me wear them though.
Now that I live on my own though, it’s a whole different story. I usually wear Islamic clothing like a hijab on a daily basis. I own plenty of amiras, and rarely ever wear North American styles anymore.
My parents still disapprove, but they accept my choice. In fact, on my last birthday they even bought me a new hijab. I loved it and thanked them graciously over and over.
