Valencia Hijab Caps are part of our new hijab cap designer series. This particular design was inspired by the intricate Spanish and Egyptian Hijab styles that include a ruffle on the side or on the side commonly achieved by pinning and layering. The work is done for you with the ruffle hijab cap. The seam which goes around the face is accented with a pretty braid.

The fabric is moonlight shimmer which is a light slightly stretchy polyester. Moonlight Shimmer fabric refers to the tiny metallic sparkle of the fabric which is very subtle but elegant effect. The ruffle hijab cap is a closed beanie style cap with approximately 7" of ruffle attached to a stretchy vertical reinforced elastic seam on the back. The ruffle is chiffon trimmed in matching satin ribbon. To wear just slips on over the head.

Due to the nature of the slightly stretchy moonlight shimmer fabric, this item is not recommended for larger sized ladies. The Valencia caps in ultra-silky fabric would be preferable for larger heads because they are stretchier.

Not a full hijab by itself but a complementary piece meant to be worn on top of or underneath an additional hijab item such as an amira hood (see picture sample), shawl or scarf for modesty or with an items to cover the neck area.
